FAQ for Solar Energy NSW
Q. Is it expensive to switch to Solar?
A. With all of the current state and federal government rebates and incentives it has never been cheaper or more affordable to switch to solar!
Q. What are the benefits to me of switching to solar?
A. You could reduce your bill by 30% by installing a solar hot water system or completely eradicate your electricity bill altogether by adding a solar panel (PV) system.
Q. Would a solar hot water system work on cold, cloudy or rainy days?
A. The solar hot water systems that we recommend use evacuated tubes as the collectors to heat the water. This is the most effective way to passively track the sun to make the most of the sunlight available to you. These tubes also use the ambient heat in the air to heat your water. They work in hot or cold climates.
Q. What is PV?
A. PV stands for Photovoltaic (photo = light & voltaic = electricity). Solar PV panels convert sunlight directly into electricity, with no moving parts.
Q. How can I use my Solar PV system after the sun goes down?
A. During the day your solar PV system is generating solar electricity, and any electricity that you are not using gets fed back into the grid, this turns your electricity meter backwards in the process. The grid effectively works as a battery system and during the evening when you use more electricity you draw back the electricity that you generated during the day.
Q. How much money will I save if I converted to solar?
A. The answer depends on how much you are paying now, how many people reside at your premises and which system you purchase. For an obligation free quote please contact us via this link now.

We have sourced the best plumbers and electricians that have extensive experience with solar systems. We will arrange, supply and fit your system for you.
